Boarding

Legacy High Boarding School has 6 dormitory houses for our boarders. With spacious bedrooms, a lounge and study areas our boarders will have a wonderful boarding experience. Additionally, within the houses will be our one of a kind daily living skills program in action. Our goal is simple, prepare our students for independent living to achieve their desired legacy.

We are proud to provide our students with a great selection of meals throughout the day. During our school week, Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for all students. Boarders will enjoy dinner each night and breakfast and lunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Our kitchen is fully staffed to provide our students with a easy and enjoyable dining experience.

Each of our dormitories will have a house parent. House parents will be responsible for the care of the dormitories, ensure students have what they need for their daily living, and represent the school’s leadership team when any issues arise. House parents are important towards achieving our students daily living skills. Our house parents will support our staff to ensure a safe and enjoyable living environment for our students.

24 hours a day 7 days a week our campus will be focused on the safety of everyone, and a pristine security program. From on the ground security personnel walking the premise, to ongoing surveillance cameras scattered throughout the campus, and ongoing training and communication to students and staff regarding safety practitioners and programs, our campus is set to be a safe place to work, study, and live.

We are focused on the health and wellness of all our students and staff. Our PE program will be robust to provide our students with the training and skills to live a healthy life. Our athletic program is designed to provide students with an opportunity to play sports, intramural and competitively, and all with the mission to have students grow their physical fitness and health. Finally, our school is working with local fitness centers to provide our students access to state of art gym equipment, physical fitness courses, and wellness programs and guidance. To achieve their legacies, it will be key for our students to focus on their health and wellness.

At Legacy High Boarding School, our Headmaster Dr. Rodriguez is focused on developing future leaders. Our student leadership is selected by our Headmaster to engage in discussions and activities related to leading the school to the next level, providing inspiration and vision to our students towards designing and implementing their own legacies, and constantly evaluating the happenings at the school to see what can be improved and how. These students are truly leaders and will lead our school to amazing journeys.

Our students will enjoy a number of social activities and clubs such as school dances, field trips to Kennedy Space Center, festivals, and more. Choir, Dance, Music, Drama, Art, and Community Outreach are just some of the clubs planned for each school year.

Legacy High Boarding School is located in beautiful Viera Florida, filled with amazing experiences such as shopping and dining, the Brevard Zoo, Beaches, Kennedy Space Center, and more. Our boarders will enjoy opportunities in the weekend to visit  local shopping and dining, field trips assuming parental consent, and local excursions such as to the beach. These experiences are vital to the boardings life experience when building both daily living skills and social skills as well.

Our leadership team prides itself in its community outreach and service. Annually we plan to engage with our local community in a significant way, weather its fundraising, volunteering, or hosting an community event. Our goal is simple, give back and collaborate with our local community.
