FAQ
Are your vegetables organic?
Our vegetables are 100% natural. We use no pesticides or chemicals. We grow hydroponically with organic practices. We are, Legacy HydrOganix. The organic certifying agencies charge a percent of proceeds in order to be certified. Because we are a school we chose not to obtain certification.
How fresh are your vegetables?
Legacy HydrOganixs vegetables are as fresh as you can get. Your items are picked the morning you pick them up. Literally only hours, and often times minutes, out of the growing media.
What if I do not like a particular vegetable variety?
At this time we do not offer substitutions.
If I cannot substitute what should I do?
We recommend that you request for the item to be left out or give it away to friends, family, or neighbors.
If I leave an item out do I get a discount?
Legacy HydrOganix operates under the work study program of Hampden-DuBose Academy and Legacy High School. All proceeds go to support the work-study program of the school and discounts will are not offered.
Since you do not offer discounts how do I know I am getting a fair price? (Are your prices competitive?)
Legacy HydrOganix has priced our offerings very competitively. Our prices are on par with Wal*Mart, Publix, and other local vegetable sources that are non-organic and no where near as fresh! Our offerings are organic, picked the day you pick-up, and are priced significantly lower than other organic suppliers such as Whole Foods.
