The USDA projects that 2.4 quadrillion pounds of produce will be supplied to the world by Americans over the next 8 years. That means a lot of Agriculture needs to happen between now and then! The Legacy High School Agriculture Program melds together the practical experience of time tested practices and the cutting edge of Agriculture today. Whether it is the fusion of Hydroponic and Organic growing methods (Legacy HydrOganix), managing Vermiculture for production outputs, or building a Sustainable Farm complete with livestock and renewable energy and food sources; the Legacy High School Agriculture Programs will teach students the necessarily skills to become self-sustainable. The students participate in 4-H, have the ability to earn scholarships, and have a positive social impact on their community and society as a whole.
